I discovered your site while doing a search for my surname "Morrah" which is thought to be of English origin. Although your site was not the object of my search, it appears to be welldone and professional.
I do wonder what the origin of your band's name is? Is it a surname, or does it have some other meaning in Russia?
Would appreciate a reply if you have time.
Although I have traveled in Eastern Europe, Hungry, Czech Republic, and Poland, I have yet to visit Russia. I plan to visit in the next year or two, and will look you up if I have the opportunity.
Best of luck, hope to hear from you.

Ed, thank you for visiting our website, even by chance.
Our bands origin stands for the Groke, the beast from Tove Jansson's
fairytales.
Tove Jansson was a Finnish writer who wrote in Swedish.
Orinally (in Swedish) the Groke's name was Mårran, "the Groke" is just
an English translation for it. It is translated into Russian as "Morra", and
"h" was added just for euphony.
I was wondered that Morrah means something in English, is it just a surname
or it has some special meaning? Anyway, treat it just as a homonym. |
